I was trying to think of/draw potential covers for my potential book, which I have barely shown anyone, and am hoarding like a crazy person. There’s something romantic in that right? Anyway, if you’d like to weigh in on this particular image, I’d love-a some feedback.

I love the cover. It might be a little more appealing/ immediately legible – just in terms of getting the casual browser to pic it up – if you added a little color.

Thanks for the links—I just picked up Clowes’ “Caricature” as a treat for myself…sooooooooo delightful.
Have finally decided that he is my all time comic idol–and his colors are always so nostalgic without seeming derivative.
I also picked up this amazing German comic from the 80′s called “bessy” which is almost identical in every way to “lassie” but in German.
